Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the gonzalezcollisionpaint.com website and any repair services you engage from Isidro Gonzalez Collision & Paint ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a photo estimate request or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.

Photo estimates are preliminary

Estimates we send based on photos are preliminary. The final price may change after in-person inspection or if additional damage is discovered during repair. We'll always tell you the revised number before doing additional work — you won't be surprised at pickup.

Deposit

A 50% deposit is required when you accept an estimate. The deposit secures your spot on our schedule and lets us order parts. Your card is securely saved by Stripe so the remaining balance can be charged automatically when the job is complete — you don't need to make a second payment manually.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Before parts are ordered or work has started: we keep a $75 booking and processing fee and refund the rest of your deposit.
  • After parts are ordered or work has started: we keep 10% of the estimate or the actual parts and labor costs incurred so far, whichever is greater. Anything left over is refunded.
  • Revised final estimate: if our in-person inspection finds the damage is materially worse than what was visible in the photos, we'll send you a revised final estimate. You can either pay the difference and proceed, or cancel under the rules above.
  • How refunds are issued: refunds go back to the same card used for the deposit. Stripe processes refunds in 5–10 business days.

Final balance and pickup

The remaining balance is charged to the card on file when the job is complete and ready for pickup. We'll notify you the charge has gone through and the vehicle is ready. If your card on file fails (expired, declined, etc.), we'll reach out to arrange another payment method before release of the vehicle.

Workmanship warranty

We warranty our workmanship — paint matching, body alignment, and labor — for the life of your ownership of the vehicle. Parts are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. Damage from new accidents, normal wear, neglect, or modifications by other parties is not covered.

Payment

We are a self-pay shop and do not currently accept insurance billing or third-party-pay arrangements. All estimates are issued to and paid by the vehicle owner directly. If your damage is being claimed under an insurance policy, you are welcome to use our estimate as supporting documentation, but payment to the shop must come from you.

Vehicle storage

Vehicles left at our facility for more than 14 days after completion may incur a storage fee of $40/day. We'll attempt to contact you multiple times before invoking storage fees.

Limitation of liability

We're responsible for the quality of repairs we perform. We're not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle, mechanical or electrical issues unrelated to the collision damage we repaired, or pre-existing conditions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant job.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes won't affect quotes already accepted.
